Dred Ironfoot was a mountain scout tasked with guarding Thonor’s pass near the Halls of Hammerfist. Years of faithful service gave him a keen insight into the flora and fauna of the mountains and his sense of direction was precise. His speed at marching and climbing in the mountains reminded one of a mountain goat. His skill with his superior crossbow was remarkable.

He aided a group from Bear’s Head in freeing his people from the domination of the Winter King and the Winter Witch. Clan Lord Farsten Hammerfist honored Dred by appointing him as ambassador to Bear’s Head.
